Archie and Veronica ask Cheryl to supply the syrup for the upcoming Bulldog breakfast, but she refuses to donate her family’s maple syrup to help the Bulldogs, who have yet to even win a game. The pair play Seven Minutes in Heaven at Cheryl’s after-party, which inevitably leads to drama with Betty. The two end up making things right with her by breaking things off.

Of course, this is just an assumption, there is no way me knowing that for sure. Candy-based illegal drugs weren’t macabre enough for Riverdale.
